A lens included in many nikon kits - from the D50 to the D40x a boat load of these plastic fantastic lenses are out in the wild.
To sum it up in
as few words as possible - this little lens stacks up well against some of my best glass. It is really quite
remarkable when you consider a new
one will set you back less than $100. It covers a good range of focal lengths, and other
than a little CA - seems to do everything else very well. Nikon now even makes a VR version of this lens.
